Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Lawyer to take ownership of a mixed caseload spanning Family Law and Wills & Estates. You’ll be trusted to manage matters independently from first appointment to resolution—whether that’s via negotiation, mediation, or litigation—while also playing a key role in guiding junior team members. This role will suit someone who enjoys variety and can confidently move between emotionally sensitive family law files and technical estate planning/probate work. Your matters will include things such as: Family Law Parenting and property matters (including complex financial structures) Divorce and separation pathways and strategy Financial agreements and negotiated settlements Appearances for mentions, directions, interim and final hearings Wills & Estates Wills, Powers of Attorney, Enduring Guardianship, and succession planning Probate and Letters of Administration applications Estate administration, distributions, and stakeholder correspondence Liaising with banks, super funds and relevant authorities to collect assets You’ll also contribute to a collaborative team environment—supporting file readiness, lifting drafting standards, and helping the practice continue to grow through strong outcomes and client experience. Key Requirements: Admitted Solicitor in NSW with solid post-admission experience (senior level) 5 PQE Strong working knowledge of Family Law procedures and court processes Demonstrated experience in estate planning, probate, and estate administration Confident advocacy, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills Excellent drafting capability (court documents estate planning instruments) Ability to run files autonomously and maintain clear client communication Experience supervising/mentoring juniors (or readiness to step into leadership) f you're ready to step up in a boutique where your independence is valued, growth is accelerating, and your contributions shape client success—apply in confidence today.
